My favorite:

The whole poem is excellent but this line is mine

I can see why, your work has a sort of echo to that line. Thanks!

The ultimate medium for words -- written in stone. So unlike these digital whispers. Very nice.

The stones have been here long before us, who can bear to hear their poetry?

Nicely done. I find it usually takes me two read throughs of your poems to put it together.

Considering how much on the internet and honestly even on Substack isn’t really meant to challenge, it’s not a bad thing.

Though it might speak to my comprehension a little as well. The phones are killing the brain cells over here 🤣

It's what my mum takes issue with my poems, every time someone says something like this in the lines of this poem is hard to understand I think YES I have succeeded - I think what you say about the digital age right now is very important, work people's brains a little bit to slow down the stagnation of the mind as much as possible, so all in all very glad to hear that my work makes you go over things again, I like poetry that remains foggy, mysterious

I have a very bad habit to try to read as fast as possible. I think substack is a good tool for us, but I have also been thinking maybe what a lot of us are trying to do is almost at odds with the nature of the platform and all social media.
